The TopLobsta’s Dogman 2.0 T-Shirt brings TopLobsta’s Dogman back as a gold wavy-line engraving on black. Under a full moon in a dark pine forest, the Dogman looms, a wall of fur, claws and teeth with both hands clamped over his face, with one yellow eye peeking through his fingers, right at you. TOPLOBSTA’S DOGMAN is stamped across the top in the same rippling engraved lines.

At the bottom is the quote that started it all:

“The Dogman exists in a quantum superstate—both disemboweling you and not existing, depending on whether you look at it.” —Top

What This Design References

The Dogman is a cryptid said to roam northern Michigan: an upright, wolf-headed creature often described as around seven feet tall. The legend took off in 1987, when Traverse City radio DJ Steve Cook wrote “The Legend” as an April Fools’ song for WTCM, and listeners started calling in with sightings of their own. Reports have spread far beyond Michigan since, though no physical evidence has been confirmed. The quote on this design riffs on Schrödinger’s cat: until somebody looks, the Dogman is in a superposition of tearing you apart and not existing at all. Which is exactly why he’s covering his eyes. Mostly.
