A tribute to Leonard Ravenhill, the influential Christian evangelist, author, and revival preacher whose uncompromising calls to prayer, repentance, holiness, and spiritual awakening challenged generations of believers.
This design from The Standard reimagines Ravenhill through an underground streetwear aesthetic—combining a stark black-and-white portrait, heavy halftone texture, and aggressive metal-inspired typography.
The contrast is intentional: old-school revival preaching presented with the visual language of underground music and counterculture.
Ravenhill was known for challenging a comfortable, complacent Christianity and calling the Church back to fervent prayer and genuine revival. His preaching and writings—including Why Revival Tarries—continue to resonate with Christians seeking something deeper than surface-level faith.
